Build belief carefully

VEILBORN is a browser management game about turning a handful of seekers into a durable congregation. Faith, money, devotion, housing, and suspicion all compete for attention while the compound grows around the people living inside it.

Followers have names, ranks, traits, conditions, and assignments. Buildings create passive effects and staffing needs. Campaign events force the congregation to deal with neighbors, authorities, the press, and the consequences of whichever doctrine it chooses.

What I am making

I am handling the game design, systems, interface, writing, balancing, and development. The current work focuses on making every action communicate its cost, consequence, and effect on the people inside the system.
