Gentle care, not another checklist
Flutterjar is a pocket ecosystem meant to be checked on rather than optimized. Bugs wander, forage, rest, and react to their home while the player tends moisture, food, and small comforts.
The systems reward consistent care without demanding constant attention. Progress saves in the browser, and a Bugpedia places real-world facts beside the tiny-world fiction.
Inside the jar
- Bug behaviors and changing moods
- Feeding, misting, foraging, and upgrades
- Day and night lighting
- No combat, fail states, or dark patterns
What I made
I handled the game design, systems, interface, art direction, and development, shaping a pet simulation around observation and care rather than constant optimization.
The bugs have moved in.
