Gentle care, not another checklist

Flutterjar is a pocket ecosystem meant to be checked on rather than optimized. Bugs wander, forage, rest, and react to their home while the player tends moisture, food, and small comforts.

The systems reward consistent care without demanding constant attention. Progress saves in the browser, and a Bugpedia places real-world facts beside the tiny-world fiction.

What I made

I handled the game design, systems, interface, art direction, and development, shaping a pet simulation around observation and care rather than constant optimization.

This short look at Flutterjar shows the terrarium in motion: a small habitat where the creatures carry on with their own lives while the player checks in, cares for them, and lets the world breathe.

The simulation chooses behaviors from time of day, hunger, thirst, and chance. Bugs can wander, groom, hide, forage, and sleep without waiting for a command.
